PHCN: "They would soon take the light you will see"- Children
"They would soon take the light you will see". This is the exact word of a boy in an area in Lagos.
I chuckled when I heard this, then it happened, exactly three minutes after power was brought, there was outage.
I was seriously perplexed by this action of children: then I realised for them to have gotten to this conclusion, they must have experienced it, not less than once.
Then I reflected to when I was younger, then it was still NEPA, once power is supplied or released, we would scream 'Up NEPAaaaaaa"; ignoring what ever we were doing, no matter how important. Even if it's only radio your parent could afford, you don't care, or your neighbours TV, lols! #memories.
For this to have concluded to this, because I also remember some very low current power being supplied then, we would still try to use it, sometimes even burning the TV; then it must have happened at least five times, and of course severally in a day.
I was ashamed and sad, then I asked myself the same question I have been hearing people ask, which is better, the Power Authority or the Power Holders.

China: Living and Sleeping with Python for 11years
This 13 year old boy, Bingzhe, has been leaving and sleeping with a python ever since he was a baby.
According to Bingzhe's father, the python has been in the family for 19 years. The Python became the boys nanny since they (the parent) are always busy working.
Bingzhe and the python started sharing bed when he was only nineteen months old.
The pyton is his best friend, in fact during summer nights , the python's cold body serves as air conditioner for him. They obviously love each other.
The python weighs 20kg (44 lbs) and is currently 44-meters(13 feet) long- big enough to swallow an adult human.
