The community of Enfield in St Mary is mourning the death of a schoolgirl who reportedly went missing after going to a river to wash.
The body of 14-year-old Trishawna Henry was seen in the nude afloat in the Dry River, this morning.
Residents and the police went in search of her again this morning, after a community search yesterday (January 25).
Mother of the teen, Ann-Marie Henry, said her daughter disobeyed her directive not to go to the river to wash, a task she was accustomed to doing before they had piped water.
Mrs Henry says, when Trishawna did not return home, she and other family members went to the river where they found her washed laundry, and the clothes she was wearing.
