Adamawa state Social Democratic Party (SDP), looses their candidate , Pastor Hakila Yerima, to the cold hands of death.
Hakila Yerima passed away on 6th of January after winning the primaries.
He was admitted in the hospital for liver-related illness but did not survive, the party’s state secretary, John Luka revealed.
Hakila had last month personally written to the party withdrawing his candidacy due to his failing health.
He thanked the party for the confidence they granted him and begged them to find a better candidate, through the letter.
His opponents were Mallam Nuhu Ribadu of the PDP and Jibrill Bindow of the APC.
