Extension of The Submission Date For the "Letter to Mr. President Competition"
Following several complaints by most youths regarding their inability to get their Permanent Voter's Card(PVC) which is a pre-requisite for participation in this competition, and the need to give as many Nigeria youths as possible,the opportunity to participate in this competition, we are announcing an extension to the deadline for submission of entries.

THE DEADLINE FOR THE SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES IS NOW 25TH FEBRUARY,2015.
Winners will then be announced on the 10th of March, 2015.
Details of the competition still remain as follows:
The project is a youth-focused competition aimed at providing young voters with the opportunity to send in their views that will form part of a manifesto to be presented to the President.
Theme: Addressing the policies of President Goodluck Jonathan
General Description: Participants are expected to write a letter to the president on three key areas of core achievements, partial achievement, and areas demanding attention that were yet to be touched. Letter should state in clear terms the effects of the policies on the people, and suggest how the president might improve them if need be.
Target Audience: The competition is for young voters, and is therefore targeted at Nigerians from the ages of 18 to 25 who are eligible to vote.
Competition Guidelines
The letter writing competition shall have the following as guidelines.
1- Submissions shall be written in the form of a letter of not more than 300 words.
2- Submissions shall start with 'Dear President' and end with the name of the writer(the address and salutation may not be part of the 300 words limit)
3- Submissions shall be written within the body of an email and sent to palmbitsipwc@gmail.com, accompanied by an attached copy of the Permanent Voters Card (PVC) stating details of the participant.
4- Participants who submit more than one entry will be automatically disqualified.
**Having the letter in the body of the email and attaching a clear copy of the PVC are two conditions that MUST be adhered to.
Submissions are expected to begin on Tuesday 3rd February,2015 and end on the 25th of February, 2015.Winners will be announced on the 10th of March,2015.
*A cash prize of N100,000 each will be given to the youths who wrote the top fifty essays.
** The top 50 essays will be determined by our team of judges who will be made known at the conclusion of the submission.
***Top fifty essays will be published in a book form and presented to the president as a manifesto of the needs/participation of Nigerian youths to governance.
