MR&MISS NACONM 2014/2015

So I went to the Award and Dinner Night of Nigeria Army College of Nursing and Midwifery yaba Lagos Nigeria(NACOMN), held at 68Nigerian Army Reference hospital Jibowu-Yaba Lagos on 19th December,2014.

This event which was hosted in College of Nursing by school of Nurses and was a shocker for we the civilians. It started with opening prayer then to Introduction of guest,National/Nurse anthem and so on.

It was honoured  by some prominent guest- King Evans from Unilag, Dr. (Mrs.) Lola Nihin (SAUBDEAN FACULTY OF SURVEY ENGINEERING), Normolous (Nigerian Artist), Generals and Captains,Mid-wives of different wards and so on. Then we had absurd-funny jokes by Smart and Pawpaw,which was nicely-absurd  and old-school  songs from Madam Joyce. MC was Captain Emmanuel and a Barrister Kemi. And this was just the beginning.

Then to the main show Mr&Miss NACOM and Mr MACHO. It was spiced up with competition for  NACOMN best male/female dancers. It was amazing. Started  with  dancing by the contestants. Among the Judges was Normolus, King Evans of Unilag,( a prominent model a prominant army commander).

Then the contestant for Mr&Miss NACONM came on stage to introduce themselves to with casual wears. Later was presentation of the  Miss NACOMN in their traditional attire. Gosh I almost forgot I was watching (military men) now transformed to their real gender by these attire. Then a humble performance from MC Emmanuel(freestyle of Nigeria national anthem).

The sudden appearance of the male contestants on short-pants(boxers) and singlet, made the audience roar with laughter with an obvious agreement that the show was just starting, tell me what more can be funny  in Barracks from military men. Lol! It was really impressive.

The Ladies,came out on classic wears,so,sumptuous. Now, I am not saying this because they are ladies but because they are military ladies,my shocker. I think I should ignore my fear of been boot-kicked and woo one. Haha!

Meal was served in a sudden-shocking-classical way. Now you will have to pardon my surprised state but seriously, I never believed these people  could do anything well aside marching and defending us the civilians.

The judges later gave their verdict. Mr NACONM was won by Ajero Innocent,Miss NACONM by Oyinyechi Ogbonna. Mr MACHO, was also won by Ajero Innocent,best NACOM,female dancer,was won by Joyce Woods while the male was won by Mr Sesu.
