New York:Seven Children Dead in a House Fire

Seven children have died in a house fire in Brooklyn, New York City.
New York's Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro describes the fire to reporters during a news conference, 21 March 2015

According to CNN Report, the fire started in Brooklyn shortly after midnight, killing children between five and 15 years old.
Surviving the incident is a woman believed to be the children's mother and a teenager, who both  escaped by jumping out of second-floor windows, both survivors are in a critical condition in hospital, suffering from burns and smoke inhalation.
The fire was believed to have been started by a malfunctioning hot plate in the kitchen.
